About Uur Exotic Longhair & Exotic Shorthair Kittens For Sale
Our Mon Chéri Exotic Longhair and Exotic Shorthair kittens have been carefully bred from show-quality Russian and German lines. Most of our Kings and Queens are Exotic Shorthairs but a few are Persians and they produce these magnificent, lovable kittens. Our Exotic Shorthair (Some may call Exotic Persian Shorthair) and Exotic Longhair (Some may call Persian) kittens for sale are available in the most desired shades of chocolate (brown), tortoiseshell (tortie), lilac (may also be called blue, silver or gray), calico, tabby, red, bicolor, solid, cream, colorpoint and black smoke. Many of our Mon Chéri kittens are making their debuts in the show ring, following the steps of their parents and grandparents!
About Exotic Longhair & Exotic Shorthair Kittens
Exotic Longhair kittens (some may call Persians) and Exotic Shorthair kittens (some may call Exotic Shorthair Persians) are very similar because they are so closely related. The Exotic Shorthair breed began in the 1950s, as a result of crossing an American Shorthair with a Persian. The main difference is the hair length. The Persians or Exotic Longhairs have slightly longer hair and the Exotic Shorthairs have shorter hair. With that said, our Persians have been carefully selected and bred to produce Exotic Longhair kittens with a midi coat length that is silky and easy care. Kittens from the very same litter maybe shorthair or longhair.
Both our Exotic Longhair and Exotic Shorthair kittens are very playful, though neither breed will demand constant play and attention. Both breeds generally prefer cuddling to playing, but you can always tempt them into a play session with a feather toy or laser toy. They’re not as vocal as Siamese cats, but they do meow when they’re happy or they want something from you. Both Exotic Longhairs and Exotic Shorthairs make great companions. These sweet lap cats want nothing more than to be with you.
